Borovets

The first resort in Bulgaria is Borovets (until June 29, 1942 Chamkoria). It is located 9 km from the town of Samokov, Sofia Region.
In the 60s and 70s of the 20th century after the construction of the first hotels, Borovets grew as a ski center.
